JOHANNESBURG – February 01, 2010 – Location intelligence solutions company, ST Group has launched MIView2Go, an analytic and map creation application which enables organisations to view and interpret corporate data such as customer or asset information against a mapping backdrop, relating the data to its location.
“MIView2Go is designed to form the foundation for an organisation’s location-based business intelligence,” explains Alan Ellis, CEO of ST Group. “It is the ideal application for the operational recording of events at particular locations at specific times and for linking data to organisational components for managerial insight through location-based analysis.
“Through automated processes, MIView2Go presents a view of corporate information that reveals newfound insight into the planning and operation of different departments, be it marketing, sales, field service or support staff. Using themes, data values are visually represented through shading and a variety of colours, patterns or symbols. Themes can also be used to show gradations or trends.

The MIView2Go product suite includes MIView2Go Lite, MIview2Go and MIView2Go Enterprise, which run on a variety of operating systems and are very easy to install. The suite includes a full range of common mapping functions such as zoom buttons, marquis, a panning function and an info tool to access database information associated with the data that is geo-coded on the map.
Well suited to organisations looking for a cost effective solution for the quick deployment and sharing of maps, MIView2Go Lite is an out-of-the-box analytic map creation tool that allows thematic, property, infrastructure or other maps to be distributed across an organisation, enabling more than one division to benefit from the analysis and capitalise on the value. It can be installed in less than a day and no training is necessary.
The MIView2Go rapid application deployment query, search and map viewing product in turn provides corporate organisations with the ability to link customer, asset and other information on-line. Using MIView2Go, users can run a query interface to interrogate data, the result of which can be browsed in tabular or map form and accessed over the web and end viewers can customise the data according to their requirements. It is the ultimate tool for organisations with a high number of users that require a customised, web-based location intelligence application that can be installed within a day and requires minimal training.
