JOHANNESBURG – August 11, 2009 – Location intelligence and mobility solutions provider, ST Group has appointed Spatial Dynamics, a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) company, based in Gaborone, as its Botswana partner.
According to ST Group CEO, Alan Ellis, Spatial Dynamics was selected based on its solid track record within the GIS space in Botswana. “The company has just undertaken training on Pitney Bowes MapInfo Professional, a Microsoft Windows-based mapping and geographic analysis application, which we believe will be ideal for businesses in Botswana wanting to gain new insights into their markets, wanting to share information-rich maps and graphs and wanting to improve strategic decision-making.
“We maintain that there are a number of opportunities within the Botswana market for this type of solution, specifically within the local mining and government sectors,” he adds.
